Heavy Machine Operative

We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Heavy Machinery Operator to join our team in Navan.

Responsibilities:

Operate heavy machinery including 360-degree excavators, loading shovels, yard sweepers, forklifts, and shunter trucks

Sort and grade incoming waste materials to maximize recycling and recovery rates

Remove non-compliant waste items from the processing stream

Perform general yard maintenance and support tasks as directed

Ensure safe operation of all machinery and adhere to site safety protocols

Maintain professional conduct with team members and the public

Ideal Candidate Will Have:

1–2 years of experience in the transport or waste management sector

Valid 360 Machine Operator license (Essential)

Forklift and loading shovel experience (Desirable)

Manual Handling and Safe Pass certification (an advantage)

Flexibility to support various roles within the facility

Strong communication skills in English

Legal eligibility to work in Ireland

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: €13.43-€17.19 per hour
