About the Role

We are currently recruiting Home Support Workers in the Adelaide Hills and Murray Mallee area!

Working as a Home Support Worker with Kalyra, you will be supporting people to remain as independent as possible through empowerment and providing ongoing support with everyday living tasks. Not every day is the same! We are guided by what our clients want to achieve from social activities such as shopping trips and attending appointments or it might be assisting with personal care with dignity and respect. What you do matters and makes a huge difference to the lives of the people we support. You'll be guided by experienced Coordinators and Program Assistants, who will provide the support you need. We'll also provide you with all the information you need about your clients, as you assist them with personal care, cleaning, and social engagement across a variety of days and times.

Skills and Experiences:
About You

Apart from being a caring and compassionate person, we ask that you have the following:

Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) - Essential (unless performing Domestic duties only)
Annual Flu Vaccination
Current Driver's License and a reliable insured vehicle
National Police Check or willingness to obtain one
Senior First Aid Certificate
Smart phone to access the mobile worker app
Excellent communication skills
A great sense of humour!
