Homecare Assistants : Cork City And West Cork €40,000 Pa

Home and Away are recruiting Homecare Assistants - in Cork City and West Cork including Crossbarry/Newcestown/Enniskean/Bandon/Dunmanway

This is a full time position

We provide Homecare to vulnerable people of all ages. Our HCAs provide assistance with Personal care, medication prompting, companionship, mobility and transfers, light house hold duties including meal preparation.

Candidates essential requirements:

• a full clean driver's license and a car
• at least 1 year of formal work as a Healthcare Assistant in a Homecare, Hospital or Nursing home setting.
• a QQI level 5 qualification in Homecare Support in at least 2 modules - Care Skills and Care of the Elderly or working towards such a qualification, or equivalent such as Pre Nursing or a Nursing Student
• Compassionate, Reliable and Enthusiastic.
• available for full time work
• available to work weekends on a rota basis
