Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a warm welcome. This role requires excellent communication skills and a passion for hospitality, as you will be responsible for managing reservations, greeting guests, and maintaining the flow of the dining area.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a positive first impression.
• Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to optimize guest flow.
• Communicate effectively with guests regarding wait times and special requests.
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area.
• Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service delivery.
• Handle phone inquiries with professionalism, providing information about menu items and restaurant policies.
• Support guest services by addressing any concerns or special needs promptly.
• Uphold high standards of hospitality while creating a welcoming atmosphere for all guests.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
• Familiarity with POS systems is a plus but not required; training will be provided.
• Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills to engage with guests positively.
• A background in hotel or hospitality industries is beneficial but not mandatory.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• A passion for helping others and creating memorable dining experiences for guests.
