Hotel Porter

The Bonnington Dublin Hotel is currently recruiting for Porter to support the ongoing growth in the hotel.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, and Reception Manager the Porter will perform housekeeping duties for the hotel including preparing rooms for guests to our high standards.

Job Description:

· Arrive for work on time, dressed in full clean and ironed uniform.

· To maintain professional and courteous manner with colleagues and guests at all times.

· To ensure vacuum cleaner is in good working order (i.e. empty bag daily)

· To know and follow correct procedure regarding property left behind by guests, Lost Property procedure. Any lost property found must be immediately reported to supervisor/ manager and recorded.

· To sign for and have responsibility for keys.

· To report any maintenance requirements on section to floor housekeeper, e.g. lights out of order.

· To rigorously follow daily standard cleanliness procedures and accommodation standards as outlined.

· To maintain their corridor, clean everyday

.To guide guests to their rooms

.To support event set up

.To support room service

.To ensure public area's internal and external are clean and tidy

· To maintain, clean and tidy the press on their corridor.

· To comply with instructions by supervisors.

· To comply with Hotel policies and procedures with regard to recycling.

· To follow rota as lay down by the Front Office department and to comply with any additional duties when necessary.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: €13.60-€14.00 per hour
