Day Porter The Arlington Hotel

The Arlington Hotel is currently seeking a full-time Day Porter to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Objective of the Role

To assist the Manager during daily operations, ensuring the highest standards of guest service, safety, and cleanliness throughout the hotel. This role also includes supporting reception duties and preparing function rooms for meetings and events.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness in public areas, corridors, and function rooms
• Set up function and meeting rooms as required
• Assist with breakfast area preparation and clearing
• Ensure corridors are free from trays, debris, and obstructions
• Respond promptly to any safety or security issues
• Support team members and management as needed during shifts

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to work
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Friendly, professional, and approachable manner with guests and colleagues
• Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends
• Previous hospitality experience is an advantage

Pay: From €14.40 per hour
