Prime Hotels Group (Waipuna Hotel & Conference Centre, Mercure Wellington Abel Tasman & Mercure Wellington Central City and Apartments, Hotel Armitage & Conference Centre, Waterloo Hotel & Backpackers, Prime Hotels Resorts) is currently seeking a Full Time Revenue Manager.
This is a salaried position offering between $90K and $100K pa subject to experience, we also offer a performance incentive-based bonus (KPI).
The successful candidate will be someone who is motivated and performance focused with proven experience in hotel revenue management and looking for the next challenge. You will have a 'can-do' approach to problem-solving and outstanding communication skills. We are looking for someone who is dedicated to developing their own skills and knowledge as well as the global teams and can demonstrate exceptional forward thinking and results driven spirit.
Duties will include :
- Maximize a company's revenue by analysing data, developing strategies, and collaborating with other departments
- Forecasting: Make financial forecasts and predictions, and design dynamic prices based on future demand
- Data analysis: Analyse financial data, market share data, and other data to identify trends and opportunities
- Pricing: Develop and optimize pricing strategies to maximize revenue
- Collaboration: Work with sales, marketing, and finance teams to develop and execute revenue growth initiatives
- Reporting: Present and analyse data to suite executives
- Strategic planning: Play an active role in the strategic plan, marketing plan, and budgeting processes
- Competitor analysis: Analyse competitors in terms of content, pricing, and strategy
- Market analysis: Conduct market analysis to understand market demand and consumer behaviour
- Inventory management: Manage inventory levels
- Distribution channel management: Monitor the performance of distribution channels and adjust them to increase financial performance
- A revenue manager needs a keen understanding of pricing strategies, market demand, and consumer behaviour.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Level 7 qualification in Business and/or Hotel Management
- 6 Years’ Hospitality Experience, 2 years in a Revenue role.
And possess
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent organisational skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to solve problems
- Be revenue and sales & marketing focused
- Able to work closely with small teams
- Strong knowledge of PMS systems, Excel and RMS systems
