Housekeeping Assistant

172 bedded Nursing Home looking for someone to work on our Housekeeping team to maintain the Home to a high standard. As a Housekeeper, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and tidiness of our nursing home. Your attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness will contribute directly to the well-being and happiness of our residents. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Ensuring a clean and sanitary environment in residents' rooms, common areas, and facilities.
• Performing general housekeeping duties, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and polishing.
• Restocking supplies and maintaining inventory of cleaning materials.
• Adhering to infection control protocols and maintaining high standards of hygiene.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Housekeeper or similar role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
• Knowledge of cleaning procedures and techniques, as well as familiarity with cleaning products and equipment.
• Ability to prioritize tasks efficiently and work independently or as part of a team.
• Excellent attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A friendly and empathetic demeanor when interacting with residents, their families, and staff members.
