Housekeeping Assistant

Bishopscourt Residential Care is a vibrant forward-thinking Nursing Home. Modern and purpose built specifically to cater to the needs of our residents.

We are currently recruiting for energetic, outgoing and caring housekeeping assistants to join our team.

We are based in waterfall in Co, Cork. There is no Public Transport to the address having your own transport essential.

Duties and responsibilities:

· Daily cleaning of the general areas.

· Daily cleaning of residents rooms.

· Wiping down of surfaces.

· Proper use and storage of cleaning equipment and cleaning products.

· Cleaning spillages as they occur and use of wet floor signs.

· Ensure safe work practices are observed and the environment is safe at all times.

· Good Knowledge of Infection Prevention and Control.

· Collection and correct disposal of domestic waste.

Qualifications and skills:

· Previous practical experience working in a similar setting is desirable but not essential.

· Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

· A professional caring and empathic nature.

· Demonstrate flexibility and availability to work allocated hours

· A good level of the English language

Full time Monday - Sunday 5 working days
