Housekeeping & Janitorial

Work in the mountains and join our fun team! Silver Fork Lodge & Restaurant is hiring for Housekeeping and Janitorial!

We are hiring a housekeeper for Thursday to Sunday; 4 to 8 hour shifts (8 am to 4 pm or 10 am to 2 pm). One year of housekeeping is prefered but not necessary. You must be available for holidays; You must have a good attitude and an ability to clean; all aspects of hotel rooms, hotel lobby, and bathrooms; as well as know proper methods of laundry and folding linens and making beds.

Responsibilities and duties:

• Clean lodge rooms and bathrooms: mini refrigerators, toilets, tubs, vanities, mirrors, make beds, dust furniture and pictures, vacuum and sweeping mopping, laundry
• Making up rooms: make the bed folding and placing linens, stocking rooms
• Clean hotel area small lobby and "sun room", guest bathrooms, and lounge/banquet room, stairs and pellet stove heater: dust furniture and pictures, vacuuming, sweeping and mopping, organizing games and books,
• Stock and organize guest coffee and water stations
• Ensure organization of cleaning supplies and laundry in the housekeeping closets and laundry rooms.
• Maintain cleaning supplies and toiletries in housekeeping closet and request from a manager more products when they are getting low.
• Periodically wash all comforters and comforter covers.
• Take out trash.
• Perform deep cleaning duties as needed.
• Ensure sheets and towels are not stained.
• Perform periodic inventory of sheets and toiletries as requested by management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

• A good attitude.
• Endurance to walk and stand during your entire shift.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to go up and down stairs

We are located a beautiful, 15 minute drive (11 miles) from the Salt Lake Valley in the heart of Big Cottonwood Canyon in Brighton, Utah. We are 1 mile from Solitude Mountain Resort and 3 miles to Brighton Ski Resort. If you love the mountains you will love to work here!
