Job Summary
The HR Assistant – Generalist is responsible for overseeing day-to-day HR operations and supporting the full employee lifecycle across IT, retail, and wholesale business units. This role ensures HR policies, labor compliance, employee relations, recruitment coordination, and performance management are effectively implemented while supporting business growth and workforce productivity.
Key Responsibilities1. HR Operations & Administration
- Supervise daily HR operations including employee records, HRIS data accuracy, contracts, and documentation.
- Ensure HR policies, SOPs, and procedures are consistently applied across corporate, retail, and warehouse locations.
- Prepare HR reports, dashboards, and workforce analytics for management review.
2. Recruitment & Onboarding
- Coordinate end-to-end recruitment for IT, retail, sales, warehouse, and support roles.
- Liaise with hiring managers to understand manpower requirements and job specifications.
- Manage onboarding, induction programs, and probation confirmation processes.
3. Employee Relations & Engagement
- Act as the first point of contact for employee queries, grievances, and disciplinary matters.
- Support investigations, corrective actions, and conflict resolution in line with company policy and labor laws.
- Assist in employee engagement initiatives, communication programs, and HR events.
4. Performance & Talent Management
- Support performance appraisal cycles, KPI tracking, and feedback processes.
- Assist in identifying training needs and coordinating internal or external learning programs.
- Support succession planning and talent development initiatives.
5. Payroll, Attendance & Benefits Coordination
- Supervise attendance, leave management, shift schedules, and overtime records for retail and warehouse staff.
- Coordinate payroll inputs, variable pay, incentives, and benefits administration with Finance or payroll vendors.
- Ensure accuracy and timely submission of payroll-related data.
6. Compliance & Labor Law
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws, employment regulations, and statutory requirements.
- Maintain audit-ready HR documentation and support internal/external audits.
- Monitor health, safety, and workplace compliance in coordination with operations teams.
7. HR Support to Business
- Partner with IT, retail, sales, and warehouse leaders to support manpower planning and workforce optimization.
- Provide HR guidance to supervisors and managers on people management practices.
- Support change management initiatives, restructures, and organizational growth plans.

Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- 2–5 years of HR Generalist experience, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory role
- Experience in IT, retail, wholesale, logistics, or FMCG industries preferred
- Proficiency in HRIS, MS Excel, and HR reporting tools
- Can start ASAP
- Amenable to be assigned in Cubao QC
Working Conditions
- May require visits to retail outlets, warehouses, or branch offices
- Occasional extended hours during peak retail seasons, audits, or payroll cycles
