Job Description:

Overview

The HR Generalist oversees all aspects of the Human Resources function, ensuring alignment between organizational goals and employee well-being. This role is responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies, policies, and practices that foster a positive, productive, and compliant work environment.

Key Responsibilities1. Recruitment & Talent Acquisition

  • Develop and execute recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
  • Manage full-cycle recruitment — from job posting and candidate screening to interviewing and onboarding.
  • Collaborate with department heads to define job roles, competencies, and staffing needs.
  • Oversee employer branding initiatives and maintain candidate pipelines.

2. Employee Relations & Engagement

  • Serve as a trusted advisor and mediator in employee relations issues.
  • Promote a culture of respect, inclusion, and collaboration.
  • Design and execute employee engagement programs, satisfaction surveys, and recognition initiatives.
  • Manage conflict resolution and disciplinary procedures fairly and consistently.

3. Performance Management

  • Implement and maintain performance appraisal systems and KPIs.
  • Support managers in setting objectives, conducting evaluations, and identifying development needs.
  • Facilitate coaching and performance improvement plans when needed.

4. Learning & Development

  • Identify training and development needs across departments.
  • Design, coordinate, and evaluate learning programs to enhance employee skills and leadership capabilities.
  • Encourage a culture of continuous learning and career growth.

5. Compensation & Benefits

  • Oversee payroll accuracy, benefits administration, and incentive programs.
  • Conduct salary benchmarking and ensure equitable compensation practices.
  • Review and recommend improvements to employee benefits to maintain competitiveness.

6. Policy Development & Compliance

  • Develop, update, and enforce HR policies and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, health & safety regulations, and data protection policies.
  • Maintain employee records and manage audits and inspections.

7. Strategic HR Planning

  • Align HR initiatives with business goals to drive organizational performance.
  • Provide insights and analytics on workforce trends, retention, and productivity.
  • Support organizational restructuring, succession planning, and change management.

8. Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI)

  • Promote inclusive hiring and equitable workplace practices.
  • Develop programs that celebrate diversity and ensure accessibility and fairness in all HR processes.

9. HR Technology & Systems

  • Oversee HRIS implementation, data accuracy, and process automation.
  • Use HR analytics to inform decision-making and optimize workflows.

10. Health, Safety & Wellbeing

  • Champion employee wellness initiatives and work-life balance.
  • Ensure workplace safety and compliance with occupational health standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 5–10 years of progressive HR experience, including at least 3 years in a managerial role.
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws, HR best practices, and HRIS tools.
  • Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is an advantage.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php45,000.00 - Php50,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
