We are currently recruiting for a HR Generalist  to join the team in Dublin.

Hours of Work: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8.30am-4.30pm.

Location: Swords, Co. Dublin

Contract Type: Full Time, Permanent Contract.

About the Role:

The HR Generalist plays a pivotal role within the Frylite Solution’s Human Resources department, acting as a central point of contact for both employees and management. This position is responsible for a broad range of operational HR functions to support the business help deliver its operational goals.

Key Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the recruitment process, including advertising vacancies, screening CVs, conducting interviews, and facilitating the new employee onboarding process working closely with hiring managers.
  • Working with the HR Administrator to ensure the Annual Fair Employment Monitoring Return is completed on time and managed throughout the year.
  • Create a timeline of external events for attendance at recruitment fairs or other events to maximise employer branding opportunities across locations within the Frylite Solutions Group.
  • Serve as a first point of contact for employee queries, advising Managers on workplace disputes/conflict, overseeing all formal processes including the investigation, disciplinary and grievance processes in line with NI & ROI legislation.
  • Ensuring compliance with current and updated employment law legislative changes for both NI and ROI.
  • Support line managers in performance review processes, provide guidance on setting objectives, and track employee progress.
  • Working alongside the wider HR team to ensure HR policies are up to date, communicate them clearly, and assist in their application across the organisation by remaining updated with all employment legislative proposals and changes ensuring Frylite policies and procedures remain compliant and relevant.
  • Assist with the facilitation of training needs as assessed and planned by the Head of People including delivery of inhouse training.
  • Partnering with external training providers to co-ordinate inhouse training.
  • Ensure payroll notifications are up to date by liaising frequently with the HR Administrator and Payroll Manager.
  • Ensuring frequent communications regarding new legislative changes which impact employees.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with employment legislation and data protection requirements.
  • Manage and update HR systems including SAP Success Factors and North Time Data (Time and Attendance System) & create reports using the HR systems.
  • Lead wellbeing strategy in the organisation.
  • Play a key role in the company social and wellbeing committee.
  • Manage the IBEC KeepWell Accreditation Project to ensure Frylite meets all criteria to remain recognised as a KeepWell Accredited Organisation.
  • Management of the attendance management processes.

Essential Criteria:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field or a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a previous HR generalist/ BP role.
  • CIPD qualification or working towards accreditation at Level 5.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment and managing competing priorities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities, with an approachable and professional manner.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Foster a culture of ownership, accountability, continuous feedback, and growth.
  • Proactive approach to identifying issues and implementing effective solutions.
  • Discretion and integrity when handling sensitive information.
  • Accuracy in maintaining personnel records and preparing reports.
  • Understanding of relevant ROI employment laws and HR best practices.
  • Competence in Microsoft Office and HR information systems.

Desirable Criteria:

  • Knowledge of NI employment law.
  • Specific experience with SAP SuccessFactors HRIS.
