Role description:

Arcadis is looking for a Project Specialist Intern, interested in H&S and Soil Characterization and with a technical background (engineering, geology or related discipline), who will be included in one of the biggest projects in our portfolio, working with a major player in the O&G Industry.

Role accountabilities

• Support the project manager in organizing activities, including drafting monitoring communications and transmitting analytical data.
• Assist the project manager in preparing summary databases on the progress of remediation activities.
• Support the contract manager in contract management with the client.
• Assist the program manager in verifying the daily activities carried out at the client’s remediation sites.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Degree in Engineering, Geology, Environmental Sciences, or equivalent qualification;
• Basic knowledge of environmental regulations (D.Lgs.152/06) and workplace safety laws (D.Lgs. 81/08);
• Excellent Italian language competency (C1) and English (B2).
• Genuine interest in safety management;
• Good organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks;
• Strong interpersonal, verbal and written skills;
• Proficiency in MS Office suite
