Human Resource Officer | West Sydney

Responsible for managing all aspects of human resources within the school. This involves handling recruitment, selection, and onboarding processes for faculty and staff, ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations, managing employee relations and performance evaluations, and facilitating professional development opportunities.

Foster a positive work culture, resolve conflicts, and support the overall mission and goals of the school through effective HR practices.

Act as a liaison between management and employees, providing guidance and support to both parties while ensuring a fair and equitable work environment.

Change management and workforce planning.

Recruitment management - interviewing, hiring, and onboarding new staff.

Onboarding new employees including management of inductions and probationary periods.

Managing and maintaining all staff personnel records and files.
-
Managing staff appraisal, staff training, and personal development planning.
-
Conduct and report on staff surveys and provide accurate and timely reports.

Drafting HR policies and ensuring compliance with employment legislation.

Provide advice, investigate, and report on employee relations issues including internal staff grievances and external complaints.
- Liaise with Workers' Compensation Agencies and rehabilitation providers.
