Indian Cook

Spice Fusion 2025 Ltd is looking for four cooks ANZSCO 351411 level 3

for Northland region who are either New Zealand citizen, residents, or on an open work visa with two years work experience in Indian cuisine: tandoor and curry cooking.

Pay rate $25-$30 per hour and overtime at same pay rate

wages will be paid weekly in the nominated bank account

minimum hours: 30-35 hours/week;schedule: Sunday and Monday lunch off

Working hours: 11:30 am to 2 pm and dinner 4:30 pm- 9:30 pm with weekend availability.

Duties:
Examining foodstuffs to ensure quality;

regulating temperatures of ovens, grills and other cooking equipment;

preparing and cooking food;

seasoning food during cooking;

portioning food, placing it on plates, and adding gravies, sauces and garnishes;

storing food in temperature controlled facilities;

preparing food to meet special dietary requirements;

may plan menus and estimate food requirements;

may train other kitchen staff and apprentices.
