Industrial Spray Painter Team Lead

Role: Industrial Spray Painter

Contract type: Permanent Fulltime, Onsite

Sector: Manufacturing.

Location: Robinson Distribution, Portnahinch, Portarlington, Co. Laois, Eircode: R32 CD40

Purpose of the role: Team Leader, prepping, priming & spray painting chassis and sub-assemblies of various on-road, off-road trailers & bodies.

Responsibilities Include:

Prepping, priming and spray painting chassis and bodies.

Team lead responsible for overseeing shot blaster.

Ensure all parts required for assembly bay are prepared in a timely manner.

Manage, maintain and take full ownership of the equipment.

Responsible for cleaning, blowing down and sealing parts for spray painting

Comply with all Safety, Health, Environmental and other Company policies, procedures, requirements and maintain a clean working environment

Assist the Production Team with keeping the line moving week to week

Core Skills and Experience required:

Minimum of 3 Years' experience in a similar role

Familiar with primers, paint mixes, spray paint systems and running paint shop effectively.

Comfortable working to a production schedule, self management & ownership of the paint & blast function.

Experience of gantry and forklift driving, an advantage.
