Instrument Technician (Pharma Projects) - Cork

We are looking for a number of experienced and talented Instrument Technicians to join our mission-critical industrial projects around Cork. STS Group is fully committed to the highest Health, Safety and Environmental practices, you will play an essential role for our business.

The Opportunity
As our Instrument Technician, you’ll work on the delivery of meaty and challenging projects, working closely with our site management team to meet our objectives.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Working on the installation and/or maintenance of instrumentation systems.
• Lots of fault-finding and rectification.
• Providing technical support to the operational teams.
• Carrying out bench test calibrations.
• Loop checking and testing instrument and verifying cabling.
• Maintaining accurate inspection and test records to comply with current legislation.

What We’re Looking For

• Qualified E&I Technician
• 3+ years' relevant experience
• Ability to read and understand technical manuals and engineering documentation
• Good literacy in Computer Operating Systems and applications such as Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint Auto CAD etc.
• Ability to work to tight schedules and achieve targets, motivated to deliver our projects on-time and to budget.

Desirable but not Essential

• Prior experience on Pharmaceutical or Data Centre projects
