We, the BMW Group, offer you an interesting and varied internship in the area of GenAI.

What awaits you?

• As an intern, you will work on an exciting project at the intersection of Generative AI, machine learning, natural language processing, computer vision and social media content creation.
• The goal of your work will be to develop tools and solutions to generate, optimize, and repurpose various types of image and video content for different purposes. This includes more advanced algorithms for interpreting images using Generative AI in the context of in-car human-machine interaction.
• You will work in a dev team with experienced developers and product owners on the intersection between research and development. There you will engage in LLM core development activities using Python, incorporating libraries, develop own modules and ensure seamless integration and optimal performance.
• You will solve complex problems connecting and abstracting several 3rd party systems and devices to enhance the LLM capabilities of our in-vehicle personal assistant.

What should you bring along?

• Enrollment in a Master's program in Computer Science or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in Python, with familiarity in core development frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch, Sklearn, Docker, OpenCV.
• Practical knowledge of deep-learning techniques and frameworks, with a focus on natural language processing and computer vision.
• Full-stack capabilities as well as general contribution to public repos, own hacking projects in the LLM area are a plus.
• Proficient in developing compelling social media content.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English for effective teamwork and documentation. German is a plus.
