[What the role is]
ISEAS – Yusof Ishak Institute is a research centre dedicated to the study of socio-political, security, and economic developments in Southeast Asia and its wide geostrategic environment.

Under this internship, you will be attached to the Human Resources Department to gain industry exposure and practical skills through working on assignments related to learning & development, performance management and employee recognition initiatives.

[What you will be working on]

• Participate in digitalisation and process improvement initiatives to improve service delivery and user experience.
• Coordinate employee recognition initiatives which include designing communication materials and overseeing nomination and award process
• Support learning initiatives and activities such as sourcing for relevant programmes to enhance the Institute’s digital capabilities and knowledge including completion of mandatory quizzes
• Provide support for HR events and development initiatives
• Assist with the maintenance of staff records and data

• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Meticulous, organized and creative
• Able to work independently
• Familiarity with Office 365 applications such as SharePoint, Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Pages

Internship Period: Nov 2024 – Jan 2025
