Posting Close Date: 10/06/2023 Ovintiv’s program is a comprehensive summer internship designed to provide a solid foundation of knowledge and experiential training while giving students the opportunity to apply what they are learning in school in a real-world setting. As an intern you will spend the summer working closely with an experienced mentor and be assigned a project and various other responsibilities intended to provide you with learning opportunities while delivering meaningful contributions to Ovintiv. Responsibilities The Land Innovations team is a business technical group that applies strategic solutions and process improvements to streamline, simplify and reinvent how Land works. The team incorporates modern technology, processes, and solutions to measure success through metrics such as adoption, capital impacts, response time, and time savings. This team collaborates with multiple stakeholders across all disciplines of the organization to understand key processes and data attributes. Through the full life cycle of research, design, recommendation, and development of solutions the intern will gain key industry knowledge of land operations to develop dashboards, reports, applications, automations, and process improvements. These solutions will enable stakeholders to make educated, efficient, and competitive decisions as well as provide consumable accurate real-time information across the greater Ovintiv Organization. In addition to the mindset of always innovating a core principle of the Land Innovation team, we aim to improve the quality of our Land information through proper data entry, validations, reducing or eliminating manual steps, and identifying potential issues through audits. As a Land Innovation intern, you will have the opportunity to review a business-critical process, learn new technologies, develop relationships, apply implementation strategies and collaborate with multiple disciplines to research, design, and build a robust solution. Required Qualifications

• Must be enrolled as a full-time student through December 2024.
• US: Must be available May 20 - August 9, 2024.
• CA: Must be available May 6 – August 23, 2024.
• Enrollment/background in IT or computer science is an asset for the land innovation intern role.
• Must be legally eligible to work in the Country of placement without sponsorship.

In accordance with applicable law, the following represents Ovintiv's reasonable estimate of the hiring compensation range for this role. Hiring Hourly Range: CA: $23.00 - $30.00 CAD, US $27.00 - $35.00 USD Compensation may vary and will be determined by year in school.
