About the Role
We are looking for a highly motivated intern to join our Product team within a Foreign Exchange (FX) electronic trading venue. This role sits directly under the Head of Product and oAers a unique opportunity to gain deep exposure to institutional FX markets, electronic trading platforms, and market microstructure. The intern will support strategic initiatives including business analysis, market research, competitive intelligence, and thought-leadership content development related to the design and evolution of a Central Limit Order Book (CLOB) FX venue. This position is ideal for candidates interested in financial markets, fintech, trading technology, or product management careers.

Key Responsibilities
1. Business & Product Analysis
- Support product strategy initiatives through structured business analysis.
- Gather and document product requirements, workflows, and functional specifications.
- Analyze trading data, client behavior, and liquidity metrics to derive insights.
- Assist in preparing internal presentations, strategy decks, and product documentation.
2. Market Research & Whitepapers
- Conduct research on FX market structure, electronic trading models, and liquidity aggregation.
- Contribute to writing whitepapers on topics such as:
- Central Limit Order Book (CLOB) architecture in FX markets
- Institutional trading workflows
- Market fragmentation and liquidity dynamics
- Emerging trends in FX electronic trading
- Translate complex technical concepts into clear, structured content.
3. Competitive Landscape & Benchmarking
- Perform competitive analysis comparing our venue against major FX venues globally.
- Track features, pricing models, liquidity pools, participant types, and technology offerings.
- Prepare comparative matrices and strategic insights to support product positioning.
- Monitor industry developments, regulatory changes, and market innovations.
4. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work with Product, Technology, Sales, and Liquidity teams to gather inputs.
- Participate in internal brainstorming sessions and product discussions.
- Support ad-hoc strategic projects led by the Head of Product.

Requirements
Education - undergraduate or postgraduate student in: Finance, Economics, Engineering / Computer Science, Mathematics / Statistics, Business or related fields
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong analytical and structured thinking ability.
- Excellent research and writing skills.
- Interest in financial markets, trading, or fintech.
- Ability to simplify complex concepts into clear documentation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
- Basic knowledge of financial markets or trading concepts is a plus.
Preferred (Nice to Have)
- Exposure to capital markets, FX trading, or fintech platforms.
- Understanding of market microstructure or order book dynamics.
- Experience with data analysis tools (Python, PowerBI, or similar).
- Prior internship in finance, consulting, or technology.
