Job Description

What the role is

You will be attached to the Translation Department (TD).

What you will be working on

Your roles include:

• Assist in the administrative preparations for National Translation Committee (NTC) and Resource Panel (RP) meetings and the daily operations of the NTC Secretariat
• Assist with user testing for TD’s Translation Management System (TMS)
• Assist in research of other available TMS tools in the market, evaluate the usability of the features and identify those that can enhance the tool that TD has in place

What we are looking for

• Good language and translation standards in English and Mother Tongue
• Good knowledge of current affairs
• Good time management skills
• Able to multi-task
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Microsoft Teams
• Good project management skills
• Knowledge of video editing, graphic design, integrated marketing communications, event management and/or campaign management
• Knowledge of using translation management systems and/or Singapore Sign Language would be beneficial but not compulsory
