Job Description:

We are looking for an Intern WordPress Developer to become a valuable part of our team. The ideal candidate should have experience developing WordPress websites, themes, and plugins. Additionally, the candidate should be capable of collaborating effectively with our design and development teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality websites to our clients.

Responsibilities:

• Develop custom WordPress themes and plugins from scratch, based on requirements.
• Customize existing WordPress themes and plugins to meet specific needs.
• Implement and maintain WordPress websites, including site backups, updates, and security checks.
• Collaborate with designers and developers to ensure seamless integration of front-end design and back-end functionality.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for WordPress websites and applications.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest WordPress developments and best practices.
• Write clean, well-documented, and reusable code.

Requirements:

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
• 1 year of experience in WordPress development.
• Strong proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience with WordPress APIs and plugin development.
• Familiarity with web development tools and technologies, such as Git, Gulp, and Webpack.
• Good understanding of UX and design principles.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Knowledge of other content management systems (CMS) such as Drupal or Joomla is a plus.
