Internal Auditor

The internal auditor is part of the audit team within the IT Security Department and will interact with departments across Leaseweb within different countries as well as with external parties. The internal auditor will directly report to the Global IT Security Director and is based in our HQ in Amsterdam.

What is the role about?

• Creating an internal audit planning and audit controls coming from multiple standards to minimize the organizations risks and spread the audit workload over the year,

• Discussing with internal stakeholders, clients, external auditors, and regulators the approach, implementation, and effectiveness of the Leaseweb control environment,

• Enhancing the Leaseweb Trust Model based on your observations within the organization,

• Ensuring continuous improvement of the internal audit function activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Continuous commitment to achieving quality improvement of the department,

• Working closely with external parties for security audits,

• Briefing the Security department on current and possible future risk and threats to the Leaseweb (control) environment,

• Aids departments in being and remaining compliant to the relevant control frameworks,

• Provide feedback on the processes, procedures, and ISMS of Leaseweb based on observations and experience,

• Performss root-cause analysis for deviations from the Leaseweb control framework together with internal stakeholders,

• Handles requests from customers regarding the adherence to security standards.

What we’re looking for:

• Education at Bachelor (HBO) level or higher required

• Experience with ISO 27001, SOC1 & 2, NEN7510, HIPAA and PCI-DSS. CISA Certification is desirable

• You feel comfortable communicating across all levels of an organization, all the way up to senior management team and geographical regions

• You have basic knowledge about complex IT environments

• You have excellent command of spoken and written English

• Prior experience in a dynamic project-based environment with strong customer focus
