SSAB is seeking for a skilled and proactive Internal Auditor with special focus on IT projects and processes. This role is reporting to Director, Group Internal Audit and the position is preferably located in Borlänge, Sweden or in Helsinki, Finland.

About the position
As an Internal Auditor you are an important player in driving the internal audit work in SSAB.
The work as Internal Auditor includes tasks aimed at supporting SSAB in its continuous work with improvements and efficiency enhancements in business management, risk management and internal control. The primary purpose of Internal Audit is to act as an independent and objective resource that creates value for the SSAB Group by carrying out established audit plans and special audits in a systematic way, thus serving as internal messengers of SSAB's values and governing rules.
As an internal auditor, you are involved in the entire execution of internal audits, from planning to follow-up. The audits are usually conducted together with a colleague.The job requires travelling to our units around the world. This is a dynamic role aimed at supporting SSAB's entities and managers with the long-term strategy and the continued development of processes in the organization.
Main responsibilities

The job requires travelling to our units around the world.
This is a dynamic role aimed at supporting SSAB's entities and managers with the long-term strategy and the continued development of processes in the organization.
About You
The job requires a Bachelor or Master degree in Business administration, Computer and System Science, Engingeering or similar and minimum of 3-5 years of working experience from external or internal auditing, with focus on IT-related auditing.
The ideal candidate is used to navigate in a decentralized organization with different stakeholders on all levels and has expertise in business system integration, data security, internal control (ITGC), and related areas.
The job requires good self awarness, high integrity and a professional attitude.
Your working style is structured and performed in a timely manner and you have have the ability to communicate in a clear and easy manner.
Good command of written and spoken English, Finnish/Swedish is considered as a benefit. All reports are written in English.
