Internal Communication Specialist, Norway

As the Internal Communications Specialist for Nets in Norway, you will play a key role in fostering a unified and engaged workforce , supporting the integration with the Nexi business, and building a cohesive internal culture. Your mission will be to ensure that all colleagues across the Norwegian business are well-informed , aligned with the company’s values and strategy, and feel connected to both local and regional business operations. You’ll serve as a vital link between the Norwegian business and the broader organization , ensuring that communication flows seamlessly and effectively .

Strategic priorities

• Culture & Unity Leadership : Drive initiatives that build and strengthen the company culture within Norway, fostering unity, collaboration, and a sense of belonging among employees.
• Employee Engagement : Develop and implement internal communication to keep employees engaged, motivated, and aligned with company goals. Ensure regular and transparent updates are provided on key business developments, projects, and initiatives.
• Regional and Central Teams : Serve as a communication link between the Nordic regional operations and the central functions, ensuring that local priorities and needs are represented, while aligning with broader company objectives. This connects to leading the creation and execution of internal campaigns that promote key messages, values, and strategies, ensuring that content is relevant and resonates with the local workforce.
• Leadership Communication Support : Provide communication support and guidance to leadership teams in Norway – and to some extent Nordic - ensuring they have the tools and resources to effectively communicate with their teams. This also includes playing a critical role in supporting the ongoing integration of the business with Nexi, ensuring that employees are kept informed of changes, understand the benefits, and feel supported throughout the process.
• Cross-functional Collaboration : Work closely with HR, leadership teams, and regional communications teams to deliver consistent, aligned, and impactful messaging across the business also serving the internal news pipeline of business verticals.

Key responsibilities:

Norway

• Plan for internal positioning of Country General Manager in Norway, who is also Regional Director for Nexi in Nordics
• Drive an internal pipeline of stories in Norway on the intranet, primarily versioning external stories to be identified with the Media Relations Team (press releases, media stories with an internal comment, major launches) and sharing community stories.
• Responsible for the development of quarterly internal all-staff presentations and periodical commercial updates in Norway.
• Act as coordinator and contributor to the planning of Nordic-wide on-site initiatives and responsible for NO activities that build and strengthen the company culture within Norway, fostering unity, collaboration, and a sense of belonging among employees.

Nordic

• Support leadership communication in connection with important internal announcements (typically on Nordic level) also through periodical Nordic all-staff meetings typically driven out of Norway.
• Responsible for supporting the maintenance and regular updating of the intranet (Nordic level).
• Supporting HR Talent & Development on projects related to employee branding .
