MISSION TO METRICS
The mission of The Ocean Cleanup is to develop and scale technologies to rid the world’s oceans of plastic.
To rid the world's oceans of plastic, we must effectively implement the strategy of The Ocean Cleanup, by ensuring our crew are informed, engaged, and inspired and understand how they can play a role in helping to achieve the mission. The Internal Communications Officer will ensure via well-chosen (internal) communications and interventions that internal stakeholders know and understand the organization's strategic direction, can distil their own work plan from this knowledge, and understand how behavior contributes to a value-based brand. In addition, craft compelling internal messages, manage key communication channels, and support engagement initiatives that reinforce our brand and culture.
TASKS
“Even if you don’t meet every professional qualification listed, we strongly encourage you to apply if you believe you have the right skills, experience, and motivation to contribute to our mission. We recognize that talent and potential come in many forms, and we value diverse perspectives and unconventional career paths. If you’re passionate about the work we do and confident in your ability to make an impact, don’t hesitate to submit your application—we’d love to hear from you”
