About the position
Due to continuous growth in our business, a new part-time position has been created for an experienced Internal Communications Officer to join our team at Enaex Australia.
In this role, you will provide internal communications support to our head office and our sites in line with business guidelines and requirements. You will play a key role in contributing to the improvement of strategic communications and branding with key stakeholders.
Reporting to the Head of HR, you will work closely with our local and global HR and Marketing teams, as well as partner with our senior and executive leadership teams to drive the narrative of our organisation.
Core accountabilities include but are not limited to:
- Research, write and produce a range of communication materials (staff newsletters, internal social media & intranet content, and video content).
- Identify and produce ‘good news’ stories - highlighting the work and achievements of our people.
- Write tailored communications on behalf of executives and leadership team members.
- Work closely with our Commercial and Operations teams from time to time, to support and promote external campaigns for external audiences.
- Contribute to developing and embedding our organisational values and other culture-building activities.
- Contribute to the planning and delivery of major staff events and initiatives including Town Halls, the Christmas Party, and more.
- Under the guidance of the Head of HR, develop and manage the internal communications and external employee branding framework and strategy, defining what communication channels and procedures will be used.
- Assist with the development of strategic communication plans, programmes and materials to generate brand awareness.
Essential requirements
- Minimum four years’ experience as an Internal Communication Officer/Advisor for a mid-sized public listed business
- Degree qualifications in communications, journalism, creative writing, or other relevant field
- Exceptional written communication skills with substantial creative writing, editing and proofing experience
- An ability to simplify complex information and transform it into content everyone can understand
- Demonstrated experience in building effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise multiple tasks and meet hard deadlines
- Experience with online platforms including SharePoint, and website backends
