If you are interested in trying something new and would like to broaden your experience, we are offering an opportunity to join SSAB and the Group Internal Control team. As one of the team members will be on extended leave, we are looking for a temporary replacement for approximately one year.

In the role as Internal Control Coordinator, you will be part of a team focused on developing and strengthening the internal control framework within the SSAB Group. You will work closely with the business to develop and enhance Risk & Control Matrices, design effective controls, and help mitigate risks across our processes. The position is located in Stockholm or Oxelösund.

About the position

As Internal Control Coordinator, you will be part of Group Internal Control (GIC), a Group function within Finance. The objective of GIC is to enable and support the organization in documenting and monitoring relevant controls to ensure effective processes and procedures, high-quality reporting, and compliance with laws and regulations.

Main responsibilities
Assisting the business and process owners in mapping processes and evaluating risks to ensure key risks are properly controlled.
Supporting with design and implementation of controls.
Facilitating Control Self Assessments (CSA) process and support analyses and follow up,
Assisting with follow-up of identified deficiencies.
About You
In this role you will interact with colleagues across the SSAB Group, so an interest in working with people, building relationships, and supporting the business is important.
We believe you have
  • Preferably a university degree in Business Administration/Finance or equivalent.
  • Experience of working in finance or internal control.
  • A service-minded approach with willingness to support colleagues across the organization.
  • An Independent and self-driven mindset with high integrity.
  • Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
