In this role, you will join our dynamic European Commercial team at our Rotterdam headquarters. The team is essential to managing international client relations across European Business Units (BU’ s). Reporting to the Head of International Client Management, you’ll work alongside two dedicated colleagues, who will support you as you settle into this impactful role.
Your role has three key pillars being: tender preparation & support, primary point of contact for BU’s and customer in case of questions and compliance checks for contract and order confirmations.
This is a unique position where your skills in customer service, commercial operations and supply chain coordination come together. You will interact regularly with a range of external and internal stakeholders, including Commercial Directors, Key Account Managers within BU’s, Central Procurement, Finance, and the Supply Chain community. What does the role entail?
As our International Customer Coordinator, you will be a vital bridge across departments, collaborating with teams to ensure the successful coordination of international tenders. This role offers an exciting opportunity to utilize your data skills, analytical mindset, attention to detail, and communication talents in a high-impact environment.
Key responsibilities include:
  • Distributing tender requests to relevant Business Units (BU’s);
  • Managing customer portals throughout tender stages;
  • Gathering and analyzing tender submissions from BU’s;
  • Preparing pricing comparison overviews and supporting senior commercial team negotiations;
  • Tracking product changes, launches, relaunches, phase-outs, and delistings;
  • Maintaining recipe, packaging, and logistics data within customer portals;
  • Creating, analyzing, and distributing performance reports (volume, margin, oTiF);
  • Coordinating sample requests;
  • Conducting compliance checks on final contracts and purchase confirmations;
  • Serving as the first point of contact for inquiries from commercial (support) teams on customer-related topics;
  • Conducting ad hoc analysis, preparing reports, and developing presentations.

About you:
We’re looking for a proactive and organized International Customer Coordinator with the following qualifications and attributes:
  • A Bachelor (HBO) degree in a Business, Financial or Technical field;
  • At least 5 years of experience in a Commercial Support or Customer Service within a Business to Business environment;
  • Background in tender management (preferred) and familiarity with the manufacturing/FMCG industry;
  • A reliable, organized, and self motivated approach with strong data skills and comfortable in systems like SAP, Excel, and PowerPoint;
  • A creative problem-solver with a positive mindset, adaptable to daily challenges;
  • Ability to thrive both autonomously and collaboratively, with high behavioural flexibility for managing internal and external relationships;
  • Fluent in English, with strong written and verbal skills;
  • The capability to juggle multiple priorities, maintaining focus and attention to detail;
  • A team-oriented attitude, bringing positivity and a collaborative spirit to the team and in the Refresco community.
