Who are we?
The Lycée Français International Samuel Beckett is an AEFE-accredited school located in the heart of Dublin.
For several years, we have welcomed high school students from France and other French-speaking countries each September for a full year of academic and cultural immersion in Ireland.
Our programme, “A Year in Dublin”, is unique — it is a life-changing experience for those who take part.
Your role
You will be responsible for ensuring an outstanding experience for our international students — from the moment they apply to the programme through to their departure.
You will also manage and develop our network of Irish host families.
In addition, you will act as an ambassador for the programme, promoting it, attracting future applicants, and contributing more broadly to the school’s visibility (open days, communications, etc.).
This is a people-focused, organisational, and strategic role — no two days are the same.
Key responsibilities
Host families
- Recruit and select host families
- Manage administrative procedures
- Conduct home visits for all families
- Mediate and handle sensitive situations
Promotion & marketing
- Organise open days and events
- Manage social media and website content
- Develop networks of partners and referral sources
- Lead recruitment campaigns
Student wellbeing
- Monthly follow-up of 30 to 45 students per year
- Allocation and placement coordination
- Organise three outings per year (including induction day)
- Handle urgent situations
Administration
- Manage files, contracts, and databases
- Communicate with all stakeholders
- Oversee four mobility scholarships from the French Ministry of Education
- Reporting and annual monitoring
Your profile
Essential:
- Bilingual French / English
- Strong understanding of Irish culture
- Team-oriented
- Excellent interpersonal skills: you genuinely enjoy working with people and listening to them
- Autonomous, proactive, and responsive
- Strong decision-making skills and ability to make proposals
Desirable:
- Experience in programme coordination, education support, or development
- Interest in digital communication and social media
- Knowledge of the French and/or Irish education systems
- Enjoys challenges and intercultural environments

Pay: €30,244.00-€40,008.00 per year
