International Operations Lead - Retail Media & Partner Marketing (m/f/d)
Your tasks
- Post-Sales Transformation & Growth Enablement: Contribute to the transformation of our Client Success & Operations department into a strategic post-sales vertical that serves as a central backbone, shifting local market execution from reactive support to proactive commercial growth.
- Global Standard Development: Design, implementation, and ownership of the “One Way of Working” blueprint for Retail Media & Partner Marketing operations across all MediaMarktSaturn countries
- Core Team Leadership: Functional leadership of a specialized team of International Operations Managers (2 FTEs), acting as “Process Architects” for standardization and operational excellence
- Matrix Enablement & Steering: Facilitation and governance of post-sales operations across all countries and the Central Campaigning hub (23+ FTEs), including definition of standards, KPIs, and daily workflows
- Operational Excellence: Identification of friction points in the post-sales journey (booking to billing) and deployment of solutions to reduce manual effort and increase speed-to-market
- Harmonization & Change Management: Alignment of diverse country requirements into a unified operational framework, serving as both diplomat and enforcer
- Tech & Data Integration: Collaboration with Salesforce Leads and Data Managers to ensure ADvendio infrastructure and dashboards support operational strategy
Your profile
- Experience: Proven experience in Retail Media, AdTech, or Trade Marketing Operations, with deep understanding of large-scale campaign or trade activation execution
- International Matrix Expertise: Proven track record in complex, cross-border, international matrix environments, with ability to align diverse teams
- Leadership Skills: Functional leadership of small teams, including development of direct reports and influence across a wider organization without direct authority
- Strategic & Process Mindset: Strong strategic thinking and system-oriented problem-solving; focus on efficiency and scalable solutions
- Process & Change Management Skills: Expertise in process management frameworks (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) and change management applied to Media/Trade Marketing
- Communication: Fluency in English (German not required), with ability to translate complex operational challenges into clear strategic decisions for senior management
