As an Operations Support & Systems Intern within the GWB Modernisation Platform , you’ll gain hands-on exposure to how credit journeys are redesigned and digitised to improve efficiency, customer experience, and innovation. What you do
Your responsibilities will include:
Product & Process Support : assist Product Owners in problem‑solving and implementing solutions to improve credit origination processes and customer journeys
Design & Innovation Engagement : participate in design discussions and contribute ideas to support digitalisation and innovation initiatives
Testing & Validation : conduct in-depth testing of new products, features, or enhancements and provide feedback on areas for improvement
Data Analysis : analyse data files to identify trends, issues, or opportunities that support solution development
Stakeholder Materials : prepare presentation content and materials to support stakeholder discussions and decision-making
Who you work with
You’ll be part of the GWB Modernisation Platform team within Global Corporate Banking , working closely with Product Owners, technology, and business stakeholders. The team focuses on re‑engineering credit journeys and advancing OCBC’s digital culture through collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Who you are
An Undergraduate student with an interest in banking, finance, digital transformation, or systems
Curious about how technology and process improvements enhance business outcomes
Comfortable learning and working with systems; familiarity with banking or finance is preferred
Analytical, organised, and attentive to detail
A clear communicator who enjoys working collaboratively in a team environment
Learning Objectives
This internship will provide you with:
Hands-on exposure to re‑engineering, automation, and digitalisation of credit journeys in wholesale banking
Understanding of how product owners and cross‑functional teams collaborate to deliver solutions
Experience participating in design, testing, and implementation of new products and features
Development of analytical, problem‑solving, and stakeholder communication skills
Insight into how digital innovation supports business transformation in corporate banking
