What you do

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Industry & Company Research: Assist in conducting in-depth industry and company research and analysis to support transaction execution.
  • Transaction Material Preparation: Contribute to the preparation of compelling materials for internal and external meetings, including pitchbooks, presentations, teasers, and information memorandums.
  • Financial Modeling & Valuation: Support the development of financial models and valuation analyses (e.g., DCF, sensitivity analysis, comparable company analysis) to assess transaction opportunities.
  • Due Diligence Support: Assist with due diligence processes, gathering and analyzing information to support transaction execution.
  • Data Platform Utilization: Utilize financial information databases such as Bloomberg, Thomson Reuters, and MergerMarket to gather data and support research efforts.
  • Team Support: Provide support to team members as needed, contributing to a collaborative and high-performing environment.

Who you work with

The Corporate Finance team within Global Investment Banking advises clients on a wide range of strategic transactions, including IPOs, secondary fundraisings, and mergers & acquisitions. You’ll work alongside experienced bankers, analysts, and associates in a dynamic and challenging environment.

  • Highly motivated and has excellent writing and analytical skills.
  • Resilient and strong ability to work independently.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree
  • Basic competency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Basic knowledge of Bloomberg, Eikon, and MergerMarket is beneficial.

Learning Objectives

This internship will provide you with:

  • A deep understanding of various corporate finance products and processes.
  • Hands-on experience performing industry and company research and analysis.
  • Practical experience preparing relevant corporate finance transactional materials.
  • Development of valuation, financial modelling, and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in utilizing financial information databases such as Bloomberg, Thomson Reuters, and MergerMarket.
