What you do

Your responsibilities will include:

• Strategic Opportunity Identification: Identify and recommend strategic opportunities for OCBC to grow market share, deepen client engagement, and develop new revenue streams within the digital transaction banking space.
• Market & Industry Research: Conduct research and market landscaping on key sectors (e.g., Digital Money, Digital Infrastructure) to uncover emerging trends, client pain points, and areas of opportunity.
• Product Development Support: Support the entire product development lifecycle for new digital capabilities, including research, documentation, testing coordination, and go-to-market preparation.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with cross-functional teams to gather inputs and track project milestones, ensuring seamless execution.
• Presentation & Communication: Assist in the preparation of materials for internal meetings, client presentations, and innovation workshops.
• Strategic Initiative Support: Support ad-hoc strategic initiatives driven by the Digital Solutions team.

Who you work with

The Digital Solutions team within Global Transaction Banking is dedicated to developing innovative digital solutions that meet the evolving needs of our corporate clients. You’ll work alongside experienced product managers, designers, and technologists in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Who you are

• Open to learning and feedback
• Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Clear and concise written communication skills.
• Organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple deadlines.
• Prior experience in research or project experience in financial services is a plus.

Learning Objectives

This internship will provide you with:

• Exposure to digital innovation within Transaction Banking, including emerging areas such as digital money, sector-specific use cases, and ecosystem development.
• Skills in conducting market and industry landscaping to identify strategic opportunities for the bank.
• An understanding of the end-to-end product development lifecycle, from ideation to implementation.
• Enhanced skills in preparing executive-level presentation materials and communicating complex ideas clearly.
