As a Spatial Design Intern within the GCX Project Office, you’ll dive into the world of human-centered design and contribute to creating innovative spaces that delight our customers. You’ll work collaboratively with the team to understand customer needs and translate those insights into tangible designs. Success means being proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to contribute to all stages of the design process – from research to prototyping.
What you do
You’ll be involved in a variety of exciting tasks, including:
Supporting UX research and design activities.
Assisting with customer journey mapping and prototyping.
Contributing to the planning and execution of customer labs and testing sessions.
Exploring spatial design concepts to enhance the customer experience.
Supporting content creation related to design projects.
Contributing to ad-hoc projects as needed.
Who you are
Currently pursuing a Polytechnic Diploma in UI/UX Design, Product Design, Experiential Design, Spatial Design/Interior Design, or a related field.
A strong interest in understanding customer needs and translating them into design solutions.
Detail-oriented with a passion for creating engaging and intuitive experiences.
A team player with excellent communication skills.
Proficient in design tools and methodologies is a plus.
Learning Objectives
This internship will provide you with:
Practical experience with UX methodologies and human-centered design thinking.
A deeper understanding of end-to-end customer journeys.
Hands-on skill development in journey mapping, prototyping, and wireframing.
