You'll join the Underwriting team responsible for underwriting and rating risks .
As the Underwriting Intern, you'll have the unique opportunity to partner with underwriters and analysts and support a dynamic team across its primary functions. You’ll have the unique opportunity to g ain a broad range of experience in the many elements that contribute to the daily operations of a multi-faceted enterprise and develop critical business competencies through various tasks. During this internship, y ou may assist with the following duties:
New Client and Renewal Client Rating for Individual Risk business
Database and records management
Various Project work
Preferred Skills:
Risk Management, Underwriting, Accounting, and/or Finance background or studies
Analytical abilities
General Computer Skills with advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
Qualities of the ideal candidate:
Able to deal with ambiguity
Adapts to changes easily
Quick learner
Excel – Intermediate to Advanced skill level
Action Oriented
Job-Related Requirements:
Facilities to work remotely, including private or semi-private workspace
Access to high-speed internet
Technology will be provided
Education Level: (years , default to 3rd year/4 th year )
Degree Target: Finance, Risk Management, Accounting
Program Dates: June 1 st to Aug 7 th ( You must be able to work th e full 10 weeks)

Compensation range for the role is listed below. Applicable salary ranges may differ across markets. Actual pay will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
Salary Ranges: $20.00 - $28.50
