Duties
- Install and repair irrigation systems for commercial properties
- Perform routine maintenance on irrigation systems, including adjusting sprinkler heads and replacing damaged components
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with irrigation systems, such as leaks or low water pressure
- Ensure proper water distribution and coverage for lawns, gardens, and landscapes
- Dig trenches and install pipes, valves, and other irrigation system components
- Operate power tools and hand tools to complete installation and repair tasks
- Collaborate with landscaping teams to coordinate irrigation system installation with overall landscape design
- Provide recommendations for improving irrigation system efficiency and water conservation
Requirements
- Previous experience as an Irrigation Technician or similar role REQUIRED
- Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to use power tools and hand tools effectively
- Knowledge of garden and landscape maintenance practices
- Familiarity with irrigation system components, such as pipes, valves, sprinkler heads, and controllers
- Ability to dig trenches and perform physically demanding tasks as needed
- Understanding of lawn care principles and water management practices
- Excellent problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve irrigation system issues
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy in installation and repair work
- Valued driver's license
