Join a progressive citrus operation in Mildura, taking responsibility to implement and monitor irrigation program and pumping systems.

We have a great opportunity for a full-time Irrigationist to join our team.

Early starts and weekend work to ensure operational requirements are met may be required. Previous experience in a similar role will be highly regarded.

The Role

As Irrigationist, you will:

· Have a flexible approach to early starts and weekend work to ensure operational requirements are met.

· Implement and schedule irrigation plans as provided. Monitor and troubleshoot as required.

· Maintain pump and irrigations systems to ensure irrigation plans are implemented as intended.

· Maintain accurate irrigation records.

· Other farm duties as required.

Skills & Experience

· Trade Qualifications:

o At least a relevant AQF Certificate II or equivalent, AND at least 1 year (20 hours or more per week) relevant post qualification experience

· OR have at least 2 years (38 hours or more per week) relevant experience

· Good computer skills (MS Office, production systems)

· Good literacy and numeracy skills for record keeping.

· Mechanical aptitude

· Clear communication, problem-solving and decision-making skills

· Previous experience in a similar role will be highly regarded.
