We are currently seeking an IT Administrator to join our team in Drogheda, Co. Louth. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and skilled individual to play a vital role in maintaining and enhancing our IT systems to support our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain network infrastructure, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • Administer servers, including DELL EMC systems, virtualisation (VMWare ESX), and storage solutions (Synology NAS).
  • Provide support for Microsoft operating systems and services, including Windows Server, Active Directory, Exchange, and Azure.
  • Oversee disaster recovery and backup systems to ensure data integrity and security.
  • Administer IT equipment such as printers, PCs, laptops, and tablets.
  • Document systems and processes while adhering to best practices.
  • Collaborate with a team to ensure seamless IT operations across the organisation.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Strong understanding of network management, including Wi-Fi and VoIP systems.
  • Proficiency in server management, hardware installation, and virtualization technologies.
  • Experience with Microsoft cloud services (Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive) and hybrid setups.
  • Knowledge of backup and disaster recovery systems such as VEEAM.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and manage IT infrastructure and office equipment effectively.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.

Desirable Skills (Optional):

  • Familiarity with ERP systems such as Aptean or accounting software like SAGE.
  • Basic knowledge of programming languages (e.g., SQL, Visual Basic, Python, Java).
  • Experience with security systems (ACT, Hikvision) and home automation technologies.
