Travel between client offices within the assigned city
Regional travel to client sites every 2–3 months
Overnight travel may be required depending on client requirements
Travel is planned in advance wherever possible and balanced across the IT Field Support team
Full NZ driver’s licence required

DDS IT is looking for customer-focused IT Field Support Specialists to deliver high-quality, onsite IT support across client workplaces. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys being out in the field, solving problems face-to-face, and building strong relationships.
You’ll act as a trusted onsite technology partner, resolving issues across devices, systems, and workplace technology while ensuring a seamless and reliable user experience.

Description:
What you’ll be doing
The IT Field Support Specialist is responsible for delivering Level 2 onsite technical support across client environments, ensuring incidents are resolved efficiently and in line with service expectations.
You’ll provide hands-on troubleshooting across end-user devices, peripherals, meeting room technology, and connectivity, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations. You’ll also play a key role in device lifecycle management, including deployments, refreshes, and asset tracking.
In addition, you’ll support a range of project-based activities such as office moves, rollout initiatives, and new starter setups—working closely with internal teams to deliver a smooth and consistent service experience.
This role is highly customer-facing and requires someone who can work independently while maintaining strong communication and stakeholder relationships.
Skills and Experiences:
What we’re looking for
You’ll bring solid onsite support experience, strong technical capability, and a passion for delivering excellent customer service.
2–4+ years’ experience in Desktop Support / Field Services / Onsite IT Support
Strong troubleshooting skills across:
Windows laptops and desktops
Hardware, peripherals, and meeting room technology
Microsoft 365 and standard business applications
Experience with Active Directory / Entra ID user administration
Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, Wi-Fi, VPN)
Experience with device deployment, imaging, and refresh activities
Ability to work independently across multiple client sites
Strong communication and customer-facing skills
Full NZ driver’s licence and willingness to travel
