Job Description
GENERAL STATEMENT OF RESPONSIBILITY: Support the Information Services department while working with senior IT staff to perform a variety of tasks. There will be daily interaction with IT staff to gain practical experience and an opportunity to perform a number of functions in a training capacity utilizing technical, organizational, and administrative skills.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Support the specific functional area on assigned projects.
- Work with multiple IT departments to accomplish projects as needed.
- Test software applications and business systems as needed.
- Assist with daily change management process.
- Assist with daily activities of assigned function.
- May perform a variety of tasks at the direction of the management team.
- Research, provide analysis, and offer solutions relating to a variety of functional projects.
- Create and update documentation.
- Perform adhoc analysis, schedules, reporting, and administrative tasks.
- Maintain and protect the confidentiality of all CRL, CRL subsidiaries, legal entities and client information.
- Be able to comply with all applicable federal, state, and local safety and health regulations that would apply to this job.
Other duties as assigned.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION: High School Diploma or equivalent; current enrollment in Information Technology/Computer Science program.
EXPERIENCE: None
SKILLS & ABILITIES:
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Good verbal, written, interpersonal communications skills
- Strong time management skills
- Sound judgment and decision making abilities; must work well under pressure; multi-tasking with the ability to follow instructions precisely
- Ability to prioritize and work independently
- Proficient in Microsoft application
- Ability to be at work and on time
- Ability and judgment to interact and communicate appropriately with other employees, clients and management
