It Support Technician

We are looking for IT Technician for our company NZ TECH REPAIR LTD based in Gisborne .You will be offeredguaranteed minimum 30 hours per week. The employment is for permanent and ongoing. The pay rate will be between $28to $35 per hour depending on skills. Work will be on rotation roaster from Monday to Saturday.

Job Description

.Installing and configuring appropriate software and application on customer’s system as per their requirements.Diagnosing, resolving and repairing hardware, software and network malfunction.Motherboard Repairing is must to know for phones.Assessing damage and cost of repairs .Ordering replacement parts as required .Timely and Efficient repairs of Mobile phones and electronic devicesTroubleshooting and problem solving any software and hardware issues on mobile phones.Setup and configure new desktops and laptops according to customer requirement with required software .Network security to provide ,detect ,prevent and solve security threats to computer .Repair and replacing peripheral equipment of computers, smart phonesprovide excellent customer service.Assist customers to efficiently use applications and equipments such as laptops.Respond to customer technical enquiries and service request.Providing technical support for maintenance and monitoring windows.Manage database efficiently by updating information.Order required parts after diagnose issue.Check that all the products you sell are well displayed.Ensure that promotional plans are properly communicated to customers in the aim of soft selling.Suggest methods for improving the client base and expanding the business.Maintaining health and safety standards and procedures.

Job requirements

Good verbal communication skills

Relevant experience for 2 years or Diploma in IT/ Computer systems/applications

Computer hardware and software knowledgeComputer and IT gadgets diagnostic skills

Ability to work on Saturday when required

Able to pass pre-employment drug testRelevant Microsoft office skills
