It Support Technician (It Administrator)

Brandt has an opportunity arising from the growth of our business for an IT Administrator to join our in-house IT team, which is spread across AUS and NZ. This is a full-time, permanent role based out of our Shared Resource Office in Pukekohe. As an IT Administrator, you will collaborate with the IT team to provide ICT support and manage the growth of ICT infrastructure in Australia & New Zealand.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Install, troubleshoot, service, and repair end-user desktop/workstation/laptop computers, and related software and communication equipment, including phones/networks.
  • Responding promptly to service issues and requests.
  • Providing technical support across the company (this may be in person or over the phone).
  • Setting up accounts for new users.
  • Repairing and replacing equipment, as necessary.
  • Testing new technology.
  • Provide support for computer/network-related purchases.
  • You will ensure safety considerations are provided for all outside contract work.

About you:

You will be passionate about IT/IS and the applications of technology in the workplace to increase communication, improve efficiency of work practices and enhance the business of doing business. You will also appreciate the finer realities of providing exceptional customer service and making technical concepts accessible to all:

  • Extensive experience with IT systems, Devices, networks, and related technologies.
  • At least two years' experience in a similar role.
  • Solid knowledge of best practices in IT administration and system security.
  • Strong computer analytic and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
