Janitor (Swing Shift)

We are an ISO 9001 and 13485 certified precision manufacturing company in the Silicon Valley providing support to Medical, Semiconductor, Automotive, Oil & Gas and Military Defense industries.

We are looking for a Janitor, or custodian, to take care of our building and carry out cleaning and maintenance duties.

The goal is to keep our building in a clean and orderly condition.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Clean and supply designated building areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restroom cleaning, office cleaning etc.)
• Manage routine upkeep of exterior areas, including outdoor break areas
• Carry out heavy cleansing tasks
• Stock and maintain supply rooms
• Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs
• Follow all health and safety regulations
• Performs other job-related duties, special projects as assigned or required.

Skills/Experience:

• 2+ years janitorial experience
• Capacity to take direction
• Strong attention to detail
• Physically capable of lifting and moving objects up to 30 pounds as necessary
• Ability to work well under minimal supervision
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
• Familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets
• Integrity and ability to work independently

Education

High School Diploma or Equivalent
