Janitor/Cleaner

Job Overview
We are seeking a PT weekend dedicated Janitor/Cleaner to maintain cleanliness and sanitation across our facilities. This role is essential in providing a safe, hygienic, and welcoming environment for staff and visitors. The ideal candidate will have experience in cleaning and facilities maintenance, with a strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to facility upkeep.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal in various areas of the facility
• Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, and common areas to meet health and safety standards
• Use commercial cleaning equipment and supplies effectively and safely
• Conduct periodic deep cleaning and sanitation procedures as required
• Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and notify management when supplies need replenishing
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to ensure quick resolution
• Follow established safety protocols and procedures during all cleaning activities

Skills

• Proven experience in cleaning or facilities maintenance preferred
• Knowledge of commercial cleaning techniques and best practices
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, carpet cleaners
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on thoroughness and quality of work
• Good organizational skills to manage daily cleaning schedules efficiently
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks, lift heavy objects, and stand for extended periods

Pay: $20.61 per hour
