Janitorial Worker

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Janitorial Worker to maintain cleanliness and safety across our facilities. Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and trash removal across all designated areas.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness in restrooms, kitchens, hallways, offices, and common areas.
• Conduct floor care activities such as buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing to ensure floors remain durable and visually appealing.
• Handle custodial duties related to commercial cleaning environments as well as industrial cleaning when required.
• Assist with facilities maintenance tasks such as minor repairs or reporting larger issues for prompt resolution.
• Support portering duties by moving supplies, furniture, or equipment as needed throughout the facility.
• Follow safety protocols during all cleaning procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.

Experience

• Prior janitorial or custodial experience is preferred; familiarity with commercial or industrial cleaning environments is highly advantageous.
• Experience with floor care techniques including buffing and polishing will be considered a strong asset.
• Knowledge of facilities maintenance practices and basic repair skills are beneficial.
• Previous porter experience or background in facilities support roles can enhance your effectiveness in this position.

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
