Junior Data Analyst

TinDuc Software Australia is seeking a motivated and analytical Junior Data Analyst to join our Sydney-based team. This role is ideal for an early-career professional who is passionate about data, technology, and transforming information into meaningful business insights.

As a Junior Data Analyst, you will support data-driven decision-making across product, operations, and client-facing teams while developing your technical and analytical skill set within a structured software environment.

About the Role

The Junior Data Analyst will assist in collecting, analysing, and interpreting data to support internal reporting, performance tracking, and strategic planning. You will collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure accurate reporting and actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and validate data from internal systems and databases
• Develop regular reports and dashboards for management and operational teams
• Analyse trends, patterns, and performance metrics to identify improvement opportunities
• Support forecasting and performance modelling initiatives
• Assist in documenting business requirements and reporting processes
• Maintain data integrity and accuracy across systems
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to optimise reporting tools
• Present findings in a clear and structured format to stakeholders

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Business, Economics, or related field
• 0–2 years of experience in data analysis or a similar role
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Basic knowledge of SQL preferred
• Familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, or similar data visualisation tools is advantageous
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities
• Ability to communicate technical insights to non-technical audiences
