Junior Financial Analyst

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Junior Financial Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. This role requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in accounting software, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and update financial records, including ledgers and journals.
• Confirm documentation and agreements.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
• Manage Purchase Orders by entering, tracking the over, backlogs if items are still required
• Manage vendor credit applications, track credit limits, and ensure compliance with purchasing limits.
• Track supplier credits for overcharges, quantity mismatches, and damaged items.
• Process and reclassify reimbursement payments and validate supervisor meal limits.
• Post credit card transactions in QuickBooks, ensuring receipts are collected.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to management.
• Support the month-end and year-end closing process.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience: 1 year of accounting experience.
• Proficiency in accounting software is an asset (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Microsoft Dynamics, SAP).
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Degree
• Experience in construction

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $45,000.00-$52,000.00 per year
